Sights and activities
One way to explore the beaches of Búzios is with a boat trip. Escunas have daily departures, and roam the beaches and islands in the north of the city. The walks are guided and last approximately 3 hours.

Arraial do cabo
The best way to get to know Arraial do Cabo is by boat. The rides last all day and include transfer from Elementos Hostel to Arraial, boat trip to see Ilha do Farol, Gruta Azul, Prainhas do Pontal and Praia do Forno. It also includes buffet lunch and transfer back to the hostel.
Diving. Baptism and free diving
Its crystal clear waters and marine fauna make Búzios an ideal place for diving. You can not only do free diving, indicated for those who have prior knowledge; but baptisms are performed, for those who do not have it.
The baptism of diving includes the boat trip, a short course of explanation, adaptation on the surface, rental of the appropriate equipment, and diving of about 30 minutes, always with an instructor.
Praia Geribá, just 500 meters from Elementos Hostel, is perfect for those who want to surf and / or take classes, since it has surf schools and board and equipment rental. Another beach with great waves to surf Búzios is Praia Brava.
In Búzios, kitesurfing is practiced mainly on the Rasa and Manguinhos beaches due to the type of wind. In Rasa, there are kite schools on the beach where equipment can also be rented.
Stand up paddle
This sport consists of rowing standing on a board similar to that of surfing. To practice it in calmer waters and without waves, the best beaches are Rasa, manguinhos and ferradura. On the other hand, to do it with waves, the best option is Geribá beach.
Paragliding and hang gliding
Búzios has a special natural area for this type of sports. The jump is made from a natural ramp within the Emerências Environmental Reserve; the second highest point in the city; and the landings are made inside the Tucuns beach.
Located 500 meters from Elementos Búzios, Geribá beach is ideal for all kinds of water sports, such as surfing, kitesurfing, stand up paddle, windsurfing, among others. It is an extensive beach, with clear waters and good waves.
It is a small beach made up of mountains and rocky shores. The sea is calm and it is a suitable place to practice kayaking and stand up paddle. It is easily accessible, entering from the left side of Geribá beach and following a 5-minute path, until reaching Ferradurinha.
Manguinhos is ideal for walks on the beach and to watch the sunset in Búzios. There is Porto da Barra, a gastronomic center with various options for the late afternoon.
Renting a buggy is a good option when touring Búzios. It can be rented for private use during your stay and you can also hire classic tours throughout the city, with a guide.
It is an ideal playground for those who travel with family and children. It is close to the center and opens in the evening.
Rua das pedras
Rua das pedras is the main tourist point of the city. It is the main street in the center, where you will find a great variety of places, from clothing stores, to bars and restaurants.
With easy access from Rua das Pedras, the Orla Bardot is made up of an extensive coastal strip ideal for hiking and appreciating the landscapes of Búzios. In the border we can appreciate the famous sculptures of Brigitte Bardot, Juscelino Kubitschek and the three fishermen; in addition to a great variety of restaurants and bars.
